POSITION SUMMARY:

The Psychology Department at Alma College in Alma, Michigan invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2024 for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The department seeks applicants with a PhD in an applied psychology field. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in health psychology or biobehavioral health. ABD candidates who will complete their degree by the start date will also be considered. Successful applicants will be able to contribute to core courses within the department, such as introductory psychology, statistics, research methods, and/or senior seminar. Courses can be developed to fit expertise and college needs. The teaching load for this position is six courses throughout the academic year.
