ALMA — With a packed schedule of events from reunions to athletics to awards, Alma College will celebrate its annual Homecoming weekend Sept. 29-Oct. 1.

This year’s Homecoming activities will be specially marked by recognition of the late Thomas Andison, a former member of the Alma College Board of Trustees and one of the most generous donors in college history. Homecoming events on Friday, Sept. 29 include reunions for the Alma College classes of 1963 (60-year) and 1973 (50-year), a percussion ensemble and pipe band concert, and athletic competitions including men’s soccer and volleyball matches.

Saturday, Sept. 30, will be marked by the chapel re-dedication ceremony, as well as the Scot Trot 5K, the Homecoming parade, a choir concert, alumni awards presentation and women’s soccer and football games.

On Sunday, Oct. 1, several worship services will take place, as well as Victory Day at Bahlke Field.
