ALMA, Mich. — Alma College’s Fall 2026 enrollment reflects continued stability and positive momentum, with total enrollment reaching 1,229 students, an increase of five students from Fall 2025.
Several key indicators point to positive movement across the institution:
- Full-time enrollment increased by 28 students.
- Undergraduate full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment grew by 10.1 students.
- New undergraduate enrollment remained stable.
- Transfer enrollment increased by 27.3%, reflecting growing interest from students seeking to continue their education at Alma College.
- Student retention remained strong, with fall-to-fall re-enrollment rates of 82.4% for first-time students and 86.0% for transfer students. The first-time re-enrollment rate is the second-highest in the decade.
These results reflect the continued dedication of our faculty and staff, the value students find in the Alma experience, and the College’s ability to attract and retain students in a highly competitive environment,
