ALMA — For its Homecoming event on Sept. 26-29, Alma College is celebrating with a packed schedule of events, from reunions to athletics to awards.

This year’s Homecoming activities are highlighted by the Alma Scots football team, fresh off a historic 2023 season that saw the team reach the third round of the NCAA playoffs for the first time in its history, taking on Hope College. The game kicks off at 2 p.m., Saturday at Bahlke Field.

Homecoming events for Thursday, Sept. 26, include a speed networking event hosted by the Alma Career and Personal Development team at 6 p.m., along with a kick-off pep assembly at 9 p.m.

Homecoming events on Friday, Sept. 27 include the 60th reunion for the Class of 1964, as well as the Athletic Hall of Fame reception and program.

Saturday, Sept. 28, is marked by the football game, as well as reunions for the Class of 1974 (50-year) and the Class of 1999 (25-year), the Scot Trot 5K, Homecoming parade, a choir concert, alumni awards presentation, Golden Thistle breakfast and more.

On Sunday, Sept. 29, worship services will take place, as well as Victory Day at Bahlke Field. The Scots cheer and STUNT teams will hold a ring ceremony, celebrating their respective national championship victories this past spring.
