During this past summer the librarians implemented a new platform used to integrate the searching of all of the materials in our traditional library catalog and articles in journals to which we subscribe. We are calling this new search platform ScotSearch.
ScotSearch provides a robust search engine that allows a keyword search of journal articles along with the traditional catalog. Obviously, depending on the specificity of the search, the results could be akin to what you receive on Google. Learning how to navigate ScotSearch and how to use it most efficiently will be one of the topics we will cover when interacting with students one-on-one and in instruction sessions.
We are excited to offer this new way of locating information. Please contact one of the librarians if you have any questions about ScotSearch and access to materials for your research.
