Biography
Jennifer Burns is a lecturer in Integrative Physiology and Health Science. She holds a Ph.D. in Kinesiology with her research focusing on longitudinal infant object exploration, as well as fine motor skills in early childhood. Stemming from her clinical experience as an occupational therapist, Dr. Burns aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and clinical practice. As an occupational therapist, she has worked in a variety of settings across the lifespan, including in K-8 schools and in hospitals in both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation.
