Jake A. Salisbury

Jacob (Jake) Salisbury is a proud educator, advocate, musician, and performing artist originally from rural Eaton Rapids, MI. They graduated summa cum laude from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors in Music Education. They are thrilled to be serving as the Assistant Director of Belonging, Culture, and Leadership at Alma College, after working previously in Alma Admissions. They are currently working on a Masters in Educational Policy at Johns Hopkins University.

Jake also serves as the Artistic Director of Harmony Diversity Choir, a community choir of 2SLGBTQIA+ folkx and allies serving the Great Lakes Bay region. Jake is also a prolific performing artist and creator, with local performing and directing credits at Midland’s Creative 360, Midland Center for the Arts, and Elite Arts Company.

Additionally, they sit on the Board of Directors at Wesley CMU, assisting with fund development. Jake lives in Midland with their wife and two cats, all of whom are avid fans of competition reality television, red carpet fashion, and quiet nights on the balcony.
