Chih-Ping Chen

Chih-Ping Chen is a cross-cultural teacher from Taiwan. As an English faculty member, she teaches 19th-century British Literature, Asian American literature, critical theory and post-colonial literature. Vampire and monster stories/films are her fascination. Fairy tales are her most recent passion. She has developed travel courses to England and San Francisco. As an advisor to Alma College’s International Club, she combines her love for international food and her dedication to enriching global understanding and cultural friendship. She teaches for and coordinates the Women’s and Gender Studies Program. She cares deeply about gender equality and the rights of all genders.
