Biography
Amy Perschbacher is a lifelong Michigander. She was born and raised on the West side of the state in the small town of Cedar Springs. She has four adult daughters and five grandchildren. She is a twice alum of Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in counseling. She holds a master’s in forensic psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is in her third term as a Mount Pleasant City Commissioner and was appointed Mayor of Mount Pleasant for three consecutive years. She owns Ronan Psychological Associates, which employs 21 mental health clinicians and four full-time office staff. She is an at-large member of the Isabella County Human Rights Committee, Isabella County Community Corrections Advisor Board, and the Isabella County Recovery Court Treatment Team. She is also the newly elected chair of the Isabella County Democratic Party. If you ask her what her passion is she would say it is all about helping people do better and be their best possible self.

I own Ronan Psychological Associates. We help around 300 people weekly. We are committed to providing state of the art psychological services to residents in the greater Central Michigan area. Our staff of doctoral level practitioners embrace a scientifically based model of clinical practice and are trained in a variety of psychological methods to address the needs of our diverse clientele. Our multidisciplinary approach to treatment means that we routinely consult with physicians, psychiatrists, educators, and legal staff to provide you with the highest-quality mental health services.
