We strongly encourage anyone who participates in the commencement ceremony, including guests, to be vaccinated for COVID-19 at least two weeks before attending the event.

Guest Policy

At this time, each graduate will be permitted up to six guests. Each guest will need to pre-registered and agree to complete established screening protocols in order to attend. Graduates received an email with the registration link.

Requests for additional guests can be made through the established wait list. On the registration form, graduates should indicate the number of additional guest tickets they are interested in receiving.

If conditions regarding COVID-19 on- or off- campus deteriorate, or additional restrictions are put in place by health officials, we may not be able to host guests on campus. We will notify graduates and their families as quickly as possible if this proves to be the case.

Commencement will be live-streamed on the Alma College YouTube channel and available to audiences on- and off-campus.

Participating in Absentia

Graduates who are unable to attend in person and would like to have a photo recognition during commencement can contact the Alumni Office at with their name and photo.
