Fast-track your success.
As an accounting major, you can use our “Fast Track” program to expedite your journey to becoming a certified public accountant (CPA).
CPAs provide expert financial services such as financial reporting, auditing and tax preparation to businesses and individuals.
Our CPA Fast Track program enables students to complete the required coursework for the CPA exam in four years, rather than the five required at other schools. If you follow the schedule, you will be ready to sit for the CPA exam during or immediately after your senior year.
What You Need to Know
Accounting professionals are consistently in demand. Qualified accountants are needed in organizations of all sizes — from government agencies and nonprofits to major accounting firms. As an accounting major, this means you’ll be able to work in a wide range of fields.
You’ll benefit from excellent earning potential, too. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual salary for accountants and auditors was $77,250 in 2021 — almost 70% higher than the national average.
