What’s up! I’m Carlos Vontori Williams, a junior from London, England, majoring in Business Sports Management with a minor in New Media Studies. Around campus you’ll usually find me on the basketball court, creating content, working as a Resident Assistant, or connecting with people all over campus. I love telling stories, meeting new people, and making the most of every opportunity Alma has to offer.

Coming to Alma from across the world was a leap of faith, but it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Alma has become a place where I’ve grown as a student, athlete, creator, and leader while making memories I’ll carry for the rest of my life. Along the way, I’ve met people who started as friends and have become family, making Alma feel like a second home even though it’s thousands of miles away from where I grew up. Whether it’s game days, campus events, student life, or behind-the-scenes moments, I’m excited to share the real Alma experience with you. Follow along for an inside look at life as a Scot—you never know what adventure is next.

My family and I now live in the metro-detroit area in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Currently, I am majoring in psychology and double minoring in art and music, with the hope of attending graduate school to do art therapy research!

I am involved in a variety of different programs on campus! I do research in our neuroscience lab and am part of the founding group for the Neuroscience Club on campus. I am a member of the Alma College Chamber Orchestra, as well as a violin instructor for the Alma College Community Music Outreach club.
