Alma Day 2026 is a full-day celebration of Scot pride, connection, and the collective impact of generosity. With a fundraising goal of $200,000, this year’s giving day brings together alumni, families, and friends through three livestreams, statewide Scots Social events, special donor incentives, and expanded opportunities to inspire participation across the Alma community.

“Alma Day highlights the incredible impact generosity has on our students and is a celebration of the transformative experiences that make Alma such a special place,” said Sarah Dehring, Senior Director of Alumni and Family Engagement. “So many of their most memorable experiences – from research projects to travel, mentorship, and hands-on learning – exist because of donor support. I’m grateful for every Scot who gives back and helps these opportunities continue.”

At the heart of Alma Day 2026 is our tartan. More than a pattern, it’s a symbol of belonging — one that connects Scots across generations, from alumni who walked campus a century ago to students enrolled today. The tartan represents continuity, tradition, and community. Through giving, that tradition becomes action: scholarships, programs, and experiences woven into opportunities that strengthen Alma College today and create lasting impact for future Scots.

Why Your Gift Matters: The Annual Fund

The Annual Fund provides immediate-use support for scholarships, academic programs, co-curricular learning, campus safety, emergency aid, and the resources that define the Alma experience. These unrestricted dollars help close the 10-to-15 percent gap not covered by tuition and endowments, removing financial barriers so students can fully participate in everything Alma offers.

“The Annual Fund is how we make the full Alma experience possible for every student,” said Ashley Wellman ‘08, Director of Annual Giving. “It fills the financial space between tuition and endowments, removes barriers, and ensures that all Scots – regardless of circumstance – can learn, explore, and thrive. These experiences have shaped generations of Alma alumni and helped fuel their success long after they’ve left campus.”
