Professional Experience
Kaya graduated from Florida Southern College with her B.S. in May 2025 and fast-tracked her education to earn her MBA the following year. While completing her degrees, she spent her summers at the Leelanau Outdoors Center and Camps Leelanau & Kohahna. There, she served in various roles, including Outdoor Educator, Head Counselor, Social Media Manager, and more!

Why I Love Alma
Kaya loves Alma College for the deep sense of community and connection it fosters for students, faculty and staff. After moving back to Michigan, she felt welcomed by the Alma family. She has always been an advocate for personalized education and appreciates Alma’s goal to tailor the college experience to each student’s academic and personal goals.

Outside The College
When she isn’t helping students navigate their college journey, Kaya loves being outside (especially in Northern Michigan!), spending time with her friends and family, and reading.
