Professional Experience
Since graduating from Alma, Sam has made it a goal to stay involved with his passion for academia. Over the last 6 years, he has spent his professional career working in schools, museums, and libraries. Sam has spent time in the Ford Museum System, across many of Michigan’s public schools, and most recently at the Capitol Area District Libraries in Lansing. He also has a passion for coaching, both leading and assisting the Tennis programs of Pinckney Community High School, University of Olivet, and Alma College!

Why Sam Loves Alma
Sam is so excited to be back in Scotland, USA! He loves the unique and individualized experience that each student is able to have. He has a passion for sharing the value of a liberal arts education from Alma College and wants to pass his passion on to all the students he helps. Additionally, being a Scot is a family affair, with Sam’s father and wife each attending Alma College as well!

Outside the College
Sam loves to spend time with his friends and family. He enjoys camping and hiking, playing with his two cats, and having his hopes high for Detroit sports.
