The Grove Living Learning Community
Located in Bruske Hall, The Grove Living Learning Community (GLLC) is for first-year students that identify within the LGBTQIA+ community or as allies.
In The Grove, you’ll work closely with student and staff mentors to foster a sense of community and belonging.
Eligibility
Any first-year student who identifies within the LGBTQIA+ community or as an ally can express interest to join the GLLC. As a member of the GLLC, you will have the opportunity to engage in the following:
- Quarterly check-ins with your staff mentor.
- Group meetings with your Resident Assistant, staff mentor, and peers.
- Community dinners on and off campus.
- Events to promote community engagement, student development, interpersonal skills, resiliency, queer history, and academic success.
