Professional Experience
Jake has been with the Alma College for three years. Prior to working in Admissions, Jake spent two years working as a Wedding Videographer for Mike Staff Productions in Metro Detroit. Jake also has previous experience working in Video Production for the North American International Auto Show and Bee’s Video Productions.

After working as a First-Year Admissions Counselor for two years, they moved to the position of Transfer Admissions Counselor.

Why I Love Alma
Jake loves Alma because of how personalized the experience is for their students. Each office helps the students feel seen, heard, and ready to grow. As a former Transfer Student themself, Jake understands how difficult making the right choice for college can be. Jake loves getting to relate his own experiences to that of his students; helping them make the right decision for their next educational journey!

Outside the College
Outside of Alma College, Jake loves going on movie dates with their wife Blaire (a 2020 Alma alum!), taking trips to Northern Michigan, and cuddling their dog & cats!
