* Library Textbook Award The library staff wanted a way to assist the students who work at the library and to show them that all of their hard work is appreciated. Our solution was to start a scholarship fund that Library student assistants can use to purchase textbooks. Since it was started in 2005, the library has raised over $8,000 for the fund. Over the same time, the library has given out 38 awards totaling more than $5,000. Besides direct contributions, the library has also used profits from our book sale and our online book sale partner, Better World Books. Interested in helping us meet our goal? Stop by the library and check out our book sale. Paperbacks are just $.25 and hardcovers $.50. You can discover some great books and help our student assistants at the same time. Call the Circulation Desk at x7229 for more information.
