Health and Wellness

At Alma, we integrate wellness into every aspect of college life. Our on-campus resources mean you can prioritize your physical, mental and emotional health every day — and get extra support when you need it.

We want to see you flourish. That’s why we strive to create an environment that empowers you to prioritize your growth.

From daily fitness classes to an on-campus health center offering counseling and medical care, we work hard to ensure you have the resources you need to take care of your mental and physical well-being.

Medical Services

The Wilcox Health Center is our on-campus health clinic. Staffed by a full-time registered medical assistant and a nurse practitioner, we offer a range of medical services, including physicals, outpatient care, lab work, travel vaccines and STD testing and treatment.

If you need further care, we can refer you to a specialist at MyMichigan Health Center — Alma. This 97-bed, full-service hospital provides comprehensive medical, preventative and emergency services and in- and outpatient psychological care.
