Scots and their siblings will spend a weekend full of activities dedicated to the outdoors and exploring Alma College.
This event is open to siblings, relatives, and family friends ages 5-18 years old! Each Scot is allowed max of two siblings.
Cost
The cost for one sibling is $10, and any additional siblings are $5 (two siblings= $15). The cost covers both the Scot and sibling t-shirts, meal vouchers, and all activities throughout the entire weekend.
Registration Dates
Please register by October 1 to be considered for early registration. Early registration includes a shirt for both Scot and sibling.

Late registration is October 2 -23. Late registration will not include a shirt, but you will still be able to participate in all weekend activities.
Remaining shirts can be purchased at check in while supplies last.

When does Scots and Sibs weekend start and end?
The weekend starts when check-in opens at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 in Remick Heritage Center lobby. Check-in will be available from 4-8 p.m. This is where sibling will receive their shirt, schedule for the weekend, campus map, and name tag.
The Alma College student must be present at check-in along with the sibling and a parent/guardian.
Scots and Sibs weekend will conclude and check-out will start at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 7 in Remick Heritage Center lobby. Check-out will be available 10 a.m.- noon.
I can’t get there until late Friday night, is that okay?
If you will be arriving after 8 p.m., please contact Jennifer Kowalczyk to let her know when you plan on arriving.
How do I register for Scots and Sibs Weekend?
Please use the online form to register. Prior to arrival for check-in, completion of waivers, media release forms, medical treatment permission will need to be completed. Payment for participation will also be collected at time of arrival.
What is there to do during Scots and Sibs Weekend?
Our schedule will be updated in the future and include a list of events and activities.
Should parents attend along with the sibling?
Parents are not expected to be present throughout the weekend. We ask all parents leave campus following check-in.
Where do siblings sleep?
Siblings will stay on campus with their Scot in their designated residence hall building and room. Permission for the guest to stay must be secured from all roommates prior to the beginning of the weekend.
The Alma College student host is responsible for the behavior of their guest and for informing the guest of the rules and regulations of Alma College and theGuest Policy.
The Alma College student host is responsible for their guests at all times and must accompany them throughout the weekend and at all events.
Are Alma College faculty and staff members children allowed to participate in this weekend?
Yes, children of Alma College faculty and staff members are highly encouraged to participate in this weekend event. As a faculty or staff member you may either participate throughout the weekend or have a current Alma College student step in as your child’s Scot.
