Leading experts discussed critical issues related to Autism Across the Lifespan at the second annual Alma College Health Symposium.


  • Attorney and expert on legal planning for people with autism.

  • Linda Hodgdon

    Speech-language pathologist, presentation titled: Visual Strategies for Autism: Three Keys for Overcoming Communication, Behavior and Social Challenges.


  • Chantal Sicile-Kira

    Founder of presentation titled: Living with Autism: Our Challenges, Our Strengths and Our Dreams.

  • Executive Director, Preparing Adolescents and Adults for Life (PAAL), expert on intensive and effective community-based transition programming for individuals with ASD.

In addition to the presentations, speakers participated in a question-and-answer panel discussion at the conclusion of the program.

This free event was aimed at health care professionals, teachers, school administrators, local advocacy groups, caregivers, law enforcement personnel and community members.
