The Digital Media Commons (SAC 117) provides students with professional-quality tools and training for web and print design as well as digital audio/video production and editing. The main lab features 17 Macintosh computer stations that can be used to create a variety of digital media projects as well as 20 Macbook Pro laptops and 20 Macbook Air laptops.

The Digital Media Commons provides numerous resources to students who are looking to complete a digital media assignment, work collaboratively as a group, or improve their software skills. These resources include:
- A main work area with 16 Apple computer stations for collaborating and working on digital media projects.
A work area for laptop machines with access to plug into a large flat screen for collaborative work.
Two comfortable lounge areas for studying or collaborating with laptops.
A private Audio/Video editing and recording suite. This space can be used for recording audio and editing group video projects in private.
Laptops are available for checkout for use within SAC 117. All checkouts require signing a checkout agreement and leaving your student ID at the front desk.
The Digital Media Commons is staffed by a team of talented student employees who are available to share their skills and assist on project work during all operating hours. A schedule of students and their areas of expertise are posted at the Digital Media Commons. Students can drop in for assistance or schedule training in advance with a lab assistant. A full time Instructional Technologist is also available for support in the Digital Media Commons.
