How-To: Remove ACWLAN Profile on Apple TV

Apple TVs that have been configured to connect to ACWLAN in the past must now be registered in ClearPass and connected to the ACRegistered wireless network. The existing ACWLAN wireless configuration profile must also be removed from these Apple TVs. Here are step-by-step instructions:

 

 1.  From the Settings menu select “General”.

2.  Scroll to the bottom and select “Profiles”.

3.  Select the profile listed.  It most likely will read “Apple TV 8-3-17”, though if a profile was installed prior to August 3, 2017, it could have a different name. 

4.  Select “Remove Profile”.
