Email Signature
Signature blocks are appended to the end of emails that are used to include your contact information and can be used to further Alma College’s branding and marketing. With Microsoft signature blocks you can create more than one and they can be used for various email recipients.
Email Signatures
Outlook for Mac
- Select and copy the email signature you would like to use from below. Make sure you copy the entire table.
- Within Outlook, go to Preferences and select Signatures.
- Select the ‘+’ button to add a new signature.
- Insert the copied email signature into Outlook and add in your personal information.
- Choose the Default Signatures button and assign the new signature to your main account.

Outlook for Windows
- Select and copy the email signature you would like to use from above. Make sure you copy the entire table.
- Within Outlook, go to the Options panel and click on the Mail menu.
- If no signatures exists click on the ‘New’ button, choose the appropriate name (ex.: InternalReplyHorizontal, NewMessageVertical, etc.).
- Paste the copied signature into the text editor. NOTE: if image did not paste properly right click on it from the web page, save it locally and drag it into the signature block editor.
- Add in your personal information.
- Choose the options for the signatures in the upper right-hand side of the Signature and Stationary options window.
- Click “OK” button to save the signature. Repeat if using different signatures for external and internal users.
