Housing and Residence Life

Students learn from one another in a shared residential experience, therefore, more than 90% of Alma College students live in college-owned or approved housing.

The education students acquire from the social and interpersonal experiences of residential life plays a vital role in their holistic development as engaged, critically-thinking, responsible and inquiring human beings.

Regardless of whether students live in a residence hall, themed housing unit or a fraternity/sorority house, Alma College retains a common set of goals—goals which promote students’ personal development and right to realize their fullest potential.
