The Alma College Volleyball Elite Camp welcomes high school sophomores, juniors and seniors with at least one season of varsity volleyball experience. Emphasizing the development of skills and technique through one-on-one instruction, repetition and competitive drills, this elite camp is designed to raise their overall volleyball IQ in preparation for college volleyball in the years to come.
All campers will want to bring a water bottle and snacks. Overnight campers are required to bring their own bedding, towels and a fan.

Saturday and Sunday
$190 per camper — includes dinner on Saturday and all meals on Sunday
$90 per camper — includes dinner
$100 per camper — includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
All campers receive at least one meal on campus, instruction from the Alma College volleyball coaching staff and current members of the Alma College volleyball team, as well as an Alma College volleyball t-shirt. Wear your Alma College Volleyball t-shirt for free admission to regular season home volleyball games this fall!
Campers who withdraw from the camp on or before June 29 will receive a full refund. Campers who withdraw on or after June 30 will receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee.

Originally from Southern California, Coach Alex Leja was the first assistant and primary setting coach for Vanguard University from January 2012 until joining the Scots in March 2016. Qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament in each of those four seasons, the 2015 team advanced to the Elite 8, finishing with a 25-7 mark, winning the Golden State Athletic Conference title for the first time in school history, and finishing the season at #7 in the NAIA. In 2015, Coach Leja mentored and coached seven players in earning Conference Player of the Week Awards; totaling four Attacker of the Week, four Defender of the Week, and three Setter of the Week. As well as four All-Americans, five All-Conference Players, Conference Player of the Year, All-Southwest Region Libero of the Year, and All-Southwest Region Player of the Year.
A native of Southern California, Coach Juliana Gutknecht comes from San Diego Christian College, an NAIA school, where she graduated in 2016. While at SDCC she was a 6 rotation, 4 year starter, a leader in kills, and the captain her senior year. Coach Gutknecht joined the Scots in July of 2017, where she is currently the assistant coach. She also coaches at Central Volleyball Club in Mount Pleasant where she led the team to place 3rd of 23 teams in the Lakeshore Power League.
