He is ranked second in Division III for victories as an active coach. Griffin is placed fifth in Division III for victories of all-time. He holds the 15th rank in both the Division III winningest coach of all-time and as an active coach. Griffin ranks at 48th for All Divisions winningest coaches of all-time.
Griffin’s teams have won 15 MIAA championships, making him the highest-ranking MIAA softball coach for conference titles. Among his athletes there have been 74 All-MIAA selections, 12 MVPs and 13 All-Americans (six first team, two second team and five third team).
