The Alma College Baseball Fall Prospect Camp is open to high school students from grades 9-12 who would like to gain collegiate coaching instruction while also being able to perform in front of various college level coaches. The day camp will include showcase drills and simulated games.
All campers will need to provide their own equipment such as glove, bat, cleats, catcher’s equipment, etc. Please wear baseball pants and a belt. A camp t-shirt will be provided.
$85 per camper. Fee includes evaluation and instruction from Division I, 2 and 3 coaches, camp t-shirt and lunch.
Campers who withdraw from the camp before October 18th will receive a full refund. If camp is cancelled because of weather, full refunds will be issued.

Camp schedule: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Jason Crain was named the head baseball coach of the Scots on Aug. 22, 2018 after spending the previous five seasons as head coach at Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Mich. At Plymouth, his 128 wins are the most of any coach in the program’s history. He led Plymouth to KLAA division championships in 2015 and 2018 and a conference championship in 2018. He has won multiple “Coach of the Year” honors, including District Coach of the Year in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Thirteen players during his five seasons at Plymouth moved on to play collegiate baseball.
Scott Niemiec joins the Alma College coaching staff this year after serving as an assistant at Plymouth High School. He was an all-state player for Salem High School and four-year letter winner in baseball (catcher) at the University of Michigan, graduating in 1996. He was UM’s Offensive Player of the Year in 1994 and Defensive Player of the Year in 1995 and was drafted by the New York Mets organization.
