Alma College Chapel is a non-denominational, student-led and Christ-centered service at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday nights.
Alma College was founded in 1886 by the Presbyterian Church and today the chapel still stands as a centerpiece of campus. A lot has changed since then, but chapel remains active in the Alma community. Now, we meet as a unified body in a student led, nondenominational service every Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. Our faith continues to be a presence in this place as we gather together weekly to worship and praise.
Your Next Stepping Stone in Faith
Entering college is a huge transition, which presents both challenges and opportunities for students’ walks of faith. In a world where it seems the pressure of “real life” is on, Sunday nights in the chapel require nothing more than your presence. When there is so much on your mind, the chapel program is here to feed you spiritually and fill your heart.
Centered in Christ
The main motto of Alma College Chapel is to be a fellowship of believers centered in Christ. As we focus on and follow Jesus, we seek to build one another up, to comfort and strengthen those who are struggling, and to form spiritual leaders. We want to motivate each other to be active in faith and to live a life of purpose on Alma’s campus and beyond.
