Community service work-study positions are available off campus in the Alma area.

- Alma Public Schools - After school program with academic mentoring, recreation, and enrichment programs
- America Reads/Math Counts Tutoring at various locations: within Alma Public Schools and the Head Start Program
- Big Brothers Big Sisters Program - Mentoring Coordinator
- United Way - Special Project Coordinator
Other positions can be established with non-profit service agencies.
