I am thrilled to announce I’ve been elected as the Central Regions Director for the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC). As an active member of this association since transitioning from the classroom to the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) nearly 20 years ago, I’m honored to take on this leadership role! NASDTEC has a strong national influence on educator licensure which aligns well with my continued oversight of Michigan certification.
