Christopher Hufnagel ’94
Mr. Hufnagel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history from Alma College in 1994. While at Alma, he participated in men’s basketball, was a member of Sigma Chi and was in Model United Nations.
Mr. Hufnagel then entered the world of business, where he worked in various leadership positions at Abercrombie & Fitch, Gap, Inc. and Under Armour, before joining Wolverine Worldwide in 2009. Hufnagel is currently group president for the company’s active brands (Merrell, Saucony, Chaco and the Kid’s Group), along with serving as global brand president of Merrell. His previous roles at Wolverine Worldwide have included global brand president for Cat Footwear, senior vice president and head of corporate strategy, and president of direct-to-consumer.
Mr. Hufnagel serves as an Alma Ambassador. In fall 2015, he was the chair for the Alma College Model UN Giving Circle. The team of 13 members had a goal of $25,000 and the year ended in June 2016 with over $56,000 raised.
