My Alma education

Prepared me for the rigors of a professional program! The time, energy, and quality of work expected by my Alma college professors has been a huge proponent of my success at MSU CVM (especially those sig figs, thanks Dr. Nancy Dopke!)

My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is

My best memory of my time at Alma was being able to travel to Costa Rica for a month for a tropical ecology class. I took Dr. Neuman’s Tropical Ecology sprint term class, where we were able to pick a topic and develop our own experiment. My partner and I chose poison dart frogs and spent our time chasing tiny frogs around the rain forest to test their aggression levels. It was an amazing opportunity to develop my skills as a field researcher, and a great thing to talk about during my application and interview process.
