I'm involved in:

I’m involved in: Women’s basketball, Track and field, XEM/Chem Club.

After I graduate I plan to

Either graduate school for forensic science or Michigan State trooper academy in order to work in a Michigan State crime lab.

So far, my favorite class(es) has/have been

Inorganic chemistry and film photography.

My greatest accomplishment at Alma is

Participating in research with Dr. Dopke.  I am a two sport athlete and I am a conference leader in both sports. Also, I received the President’s Cup (GPA 4.0) both semesters my freshman year, and continue to be on the Dean’s list.

I'd advise an Alma freshman to

Make friends in your major, it makes classes more fun and ensures you’ll always have a study buddy.

I'd tell a student considering coming to Alma

The relationships that you form with your professors here make classes more fun, as well as support you throughout college and will continue even after you graduate. Being in a personal environment like this makes all the difference in the success of your education.

I went to

I traveled to Germany for spring term to study the Holocaust and the Cold War, and learned so much about the culture and these topics from a perspective that we can’t get in the US.
