Since graduating from Alma
I spent 38 years at JPMorgan Chase, as an information technology auditor/security specialist, then running parts of the credit and debit card business.
My Alma education
was a perfect way to open my eyes to the world and begin a lifelong journey of learning and service. Alma prepared me well for life as an auditor and then for anything else I wanted to be. I had the discipline to learn and was open to new experiences. I would tell a new graduate to keep your mind open–there are lots of opportunities in life and employment that you never even thought of where you can leverage your interests and education.
My favorite place(s) on campus included
Bruske Hall, the chapel, and the paddleball courts at Hogan.
My favorite professors(s) included
Dr. John Gibson, Dr. Sullivan, and Dr. Edison.
My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is
Spring terms, both on campus and in California and Russia.
My off-campus study experience(s) included
a spring term in Poland and the Soviet Union with the choir.
