My Alma education
prepared me for more than just a career. It took me places I never thought I’d go and introduced me to incredible people along the way. Courses in my major taught me the skills necessary to succeed in the fast-paced, evolving field of software development. My liberal arts distributives taught me the critical thinking and communication skills necessary as a consultant.
My favorite place(s) on campus included
Joe’s, The Math Bay in SAC, and the Phi Mu Alpha house.
My favorite professors(s) included
The entire Math and Computer Science department, Dr. Strait, and Dr. Reed.
My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is
playing Ultimate Frisbee on the football field under the lights.
My off-campus study experience(s) included
a spring term learning Spanish and Andean mathematics in Peru, a summer internship with the University of Michigan’s Robotics department, and a couple of weeks at NASA Ames Research Center with Dr. Strait.
