My hometown when I was a student was
I graduated in
Business Administration and Spanish
I currently live in
Since graduating from Alma
I worked at Mazda Motors in Flat Rock, was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala, and have taught high school Spanish and ESL for almost 20 years.
My Alma education
helped me become a confident, well-rounded person. My varied experiences at Alma College and its academic rigor prepared me for all different kinds of careers, and two different graduate school programs! I am so grateful for my AC liberal arts education.
My favorite place(s) on campus included
any and all residence hall rooms where my friends were hanging out. And Hamilton Commons, of course!
My favorite professors(s) included
Dr. George Gazmararian and Dr. Charlie Gray. And Jim Cole, who was my HS track coach and encouraged me to go to Alma!
My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is
when my cross country team competed at Nationals in Newport News, Virginia. Also a Spring term ornithology class that included a lot of crazy camping trips!
My off-campus study experience(s) included
a semester abroad in Madrid, and two different business classes taught in Paris and Brussels.
