Karen Magnuson ’78

Elected to the Board in 2018, Ms. Magnuson is an executive-in-residence at the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Saunders College of Business. Previously, she was executive editor of the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y., for 18 years, overseeing newsrooms in seven markets for the USA Today Network. She advanced national innovation and diversity programs during her term as president of the Associated Press Media Editors Association. She is a former student editor of The Almanian.
