Carol J. Burns

Elected to the Board in 2018, Ms. Burns specializes in communicating the role of science in risk assessment and interpreting occupational and agricultural epidemiology research. Prior to starting Burns Epidemiology Consulting, she was a research epidemiologist at The Dow Chemical Company for more than 20 years. She is married to Paul Burns ’81; they have three children: Kenneth ’16, Daniel and Annette ’19.
