I’m involved with The Alma Choir, Pretty in Plaid, ΑΓΔ, cross country and track

After I graduate I plan to

student teach in Williamston for a semester in a third grade classroom, then I plan to find a teaching job and work with elementary or middle school students in the classroom and also through national park education programs!

My favorite place on campus is

the chapel, where the choir rehearses.

Some of my favorite professors include

Dr. Store, she’s my advisor and biggest mentor in this campus and I absolutely love having class with her and working along side her. Dr. Nichols, the choir director, I love singing for him and I have for the past four years!

So far, my favorite class(es) has/have been

My favorite classes have been all of my education classes especially the field placement opportunities that’s I’ve had through those classes, I’ve loved my bird migration spring term class, as well as all of my bio classes with me. Bishop!

My greatest accomplishment at Alma is

My greatest accomplishment has been just growing into the woman and teacher that I am today through all of the experiences that I’ve had and all the amazing people that I’ve met! I was also honored as homecoming queen and I am currently wrapping up work on a senior thesis!

I'd advise an Alma freshman to

advise freshman to keep an open mind to any opportunity and to never be afraid to show your true colors because coming to college is a fresh slate and that can be a beautiful way to blossom into who you want to be aa person.

I'd tell a student considering coming to Alma

I would tell them that Alma has become my second home. I wouldn’t trade my time here for anything in the world.

What I like most about studying at Alma is

What I like most about studying here is that you get to delve into whatever interests you have right off the bat!

My favorite part of living on campus is all of the activities there are and all of the best friends that I’ve made here!
