Dance Major and Educational Studies (emphasis in Special Needs)

I'm involved in:

Chapel, Tea Time with God, Alma College Dance Company, Pi Delta Chi, KCP

After I graduate, I plan to:

Teach dance to students with special needs

My favorite place on campus is:

The Chapel

Some of my favorite professors include:

Rosely Conz, Sheryle Dixon, and Crystal Fullmer

So far, my favorite class(es) have been:

Ballet and Dance Pedagogy

My greatest accomplishment at Alma is:

Using my Venture Grant to have an internship in Albuquerque, NM. Also, presenting work at Honors Day and at ACDA, a national college dance conference

I'd advise an Alma freshman to:

Don’t be afraid to take time for yourself. Everyone is telling you to get involved and meet lots of people, which is certainly a worthwhile and rewarding experience, but don’t be afraid to have a movie night or decompress every once in a while.

What I like most about studying at Alma is:

The community; everyone I’ve met from faculty and staff, to students and peers, to members of the city of Alma, has been here to help me whether that be academically, spiritually, socially, etc.

My favorite part about living on campus is:

Being so close to everything. I love being able to balance so many activities in so little time, simply because they are so close together.
