Core2017: M. R. Fonley

I will be working on math as it applies to hydrology. Firstly, I will be creating and testing models for water flow through a soil matrix. Depending on their personal interests, students may choose to help with this work by wring computer code to run model simulations or instead to help with the model design and testing. A second aspect of this work is to determine various ways a river network can be mapped into two-dimensional space.
