The hand is controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The Arduino receives signals from an amplifier circuit and then activates servo motors based on the amplitude.

3-D Printing

The metacarpus was manufactured using a process called 3-D printing. This involves melting layers of plastic together to achieve the final product.

Designing the hand involved using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Determining the antagonistic muscles used to operate the fingers.
