My advice for a new graduate:  Nothing will be handed to you simply because you graduated from Alma. You need to demonstrate your value, utilizing the tools Alma helped you develop.

My hometown when I was a student was

Eureka, MI

I graduated in

1983

I studied

Spanish/Political Science

I currently live in

Traverse City, MI

Since graduating from Alma

I married my fellow Scot (Trish Campbell ’83), moved to God’s country, raised 4 children, and manage a branch of highly successful financial advisors at Stifel Nicolaus in Traverse City.

My Alma education

Was the greatest four year span in my life.

My favorite place(s) on campus included

The baseball field and the TKE house.

My favorite professors(s) included

Dr. Eugene Kolb

My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is

Sealing our share of the baseball conference championship AT ALBION! Then, sealing it outright at home.

My off-campus study experience(s) included

One term in Madrid.
