I have stayed engaged with the college while developing my career. I spent about 7 years on the Alumni Board engaging students, fellow alumni and the community. I most recently finished my term as President of the Board at the close of 2016. I have also been passionate about investing time working with organizations including Art Reach of Mid-Michigan, Mt. Pleasant Community Hospital, Guest House of Milwaukee, LGBTA Governance Team of Northwestern Mutual, United Way, Caminos de Agua and Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
I have been fortunate to build my career with Northwestern Mutual. I started with 2 years in Mt. Pleasant after graduation working with Jim Goodrich, a fellow alumni, before relocating to Troy, MI to oversee and develop the College Internship program. After living in metro Detroit for about 3 years, I relocated to Milwaukee where I became a Regional Consultant with Northwestern Mutual’s home office. In 2016 I transitioned to the Director of Development with the Rosemont office in Chicago. I look forward to seeing what 2017 brings as I continue my partnership with Northwestern Mutual-Chicago!
