Since graduating from Alma
I have had three positions in Human Resources – one of which was at Alma College where I discovered my talent for benefits administration. I am still best friends with an Alma graduate from the class of 2010, and still thank the “Academic and Career Planning Office” that found the internship that brought us together. I met the person I am meant to spend the rest of my life with and we are getting married in August of 2017. I also found the Alma College Alumni Board which allows me to stay in touch with this amazing institution and allows me to further the success of the College’s faculty, staff and students.
My Alma education
My Alma Education has made me the person I am today. Alma College has given me the liberal arts education that has made me successful, but also unbreakable bonds that I will cherish forever.
My favorite place(s) on campus included
So many of my best Alma College memories took place on the big brown couch in the Alpha Xi Delta chapter room – movie marathons, gossip sessions, after class naps, and tons of laughter. I also spent a lot of time in the Chapel, where I rehearsed with Doc and the rest of the Alma College choir.
My favorite professors(s) included
Professor Cameron had the most interesting Business Law courses – but she also always encouraged me to do my best and believed in me.
My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is
I will never forget the feeling of standing in line with my classmates outside of Hogan Athletic Center in our caps and gowns, waiting to enter the Commencement Ceremony.
