My Alma education

It was a wonderful, challenging experience.  It empowered me to extend myself and learn about the world.  I learned how to make connections and draw conclusions.  I felt like I was a part of something bigger.  It also gave me the opportunity to study abroad, which I took advantage of.  I traveled to the Aberdeen, Scotland and studied there. AC provided me with an opportunity to learn how to learn.  It gave me the skills needed to lead, speak, research, synthesize information, connect with people, and help others.  I learned how to plan and envision goals and outcomes.  It also helped instill within me leadership opportunities as various extracurricular activities allowed me to develop as a leader and speaker.  The professors – the way they taught and interacted with the students – also inspired me to become the type of teacher I am today.

My favorite place(s) on campus included

The Sigma Chi Fraternity House, Saga, the Library, and just the campus itself.

My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is

How people cared for each other and how you felt like you were a part of a community.
