I have been teaching for 20 years. I have been fortunate to have very successful choir programs and been honored to direct State Honors Choirs in 2009 and 2012. I have also taught at Williamston HS and MS, Swartz Creek HS and Berkley Norup MS.
My Alma education
It was a wonderful education and provided me with many opportunities I probably would not have gotten at a large university. Since I’ve been out of college for 20 years and finished my Masters at MSU 15 years ago, I feel the most significant connection I have with Alma College is with the people there. I still see most of my music professors on a regular basis and love to call them my colleagues and friends. I do two summer camps with my students and I take them to Alma College. Nothing makes me happier than hearing my kids that I love say how great the campus is, or how friendly everyone is on campus. I love being a very proud alumna!
My favorite place(s) on campus included
The music building/practice rooms and the AGD house.
My most vivid/best memory of my time at Alma is
Choir Tours!
