My greatest accomplishment at Alma is
is getting the opportunity to travel to Germany and Poland for 18 days. Many other students had applied to get on this Spring Term and less than half got to go, so I’m pretty proud that I was chosen out of so many students to be able to travel there.
I'd advise an Alma freshman to
Join a few organizations that interest you. Don’t overwhelm yourself with too many clubs, but just try a few and attend some meetings to see if you will like it.
I'd tell a student considering coming to Alma
Schedule a visit and meet with a professor that’s in your field of interest. Come prepared with questions to ask the professor to make sure Alma is the best school for you academically and for your future career.
What I like most about studying at Alma is
All the help Alma has to offer. They offer free tutors, which I have found extremely helpful, the professors have open office hours and are always willing to help, and even some of my professors have come in late to do review sessions for exams.
My favorite part about living on campus is
How close I am to everything. If I want to do a quick study session the night before an exam, I can meet up with some friends at 9:00 o’clock at night and do some refreshing.
