My expertise:

My research interests are based on epidemiological and socioeconomic approaches in the topic areas of chronic conditions such as hypertension, obesity and diabetes, health behaviors including diet, physical activity, alcohol consumption and smoking, and food consumption behaviors as well as social disparities among population groups.

My current research interests are revolved around two main themes: chronic disease conditions and health management, so the research topics are focused on health-related determinants of dietary and lifestyle behaviors aimed at prevention and treatment of chronic disease conditions.
